Publishing house "Arms and Technologies"

The Publishing House "Arms and Technologies" has been established in 1999 and supported by the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation.

The main project implemented by the Publishing House "Arms and Technologies" is to arrange and issue the multi-volume Encyclopedia "Russia's Arms and Technologies. The XXI Century Encyclopedia" under general supervision of the Defense Minister of the Russian Federation Anatoly Serdyukov. The general sponsored of the project is VTB Bank.

The following volumes have been issued by the present time:

• Volume 1 — "Strategic Nuclear Forces";
• Volume 2 — "Rocket and Artillery Armament of Ground Forces";
• Volume 3 — "Naval Weapons";
• Volume 4 — "Military Aircraft" ;
• Volume 5 — "Space Weapons";
• Volume 6 — "Ships of the Navy";
• Volume 7 — "Armored Vehicles";
• Volume 8 — "Information Security";
• Volume 9 — "Air and Ballistic Missile Defense";
• Volume 10 — "Aircraft Armament and Avionics";
• Volume 11 — "Optoelectronic and Laser Systems";
• Volume 12 — "Ordnance and Munitions";
• Volume 13 — "Control, Communication and Radio Electronic Warfare Systems";
• Volume 14 — "Nuclear Weapons Complex";
• Volume 15 — "Security and Law Enforcement Facilities";
• Volume 16 — "Military Vehicles";
• Volume 17 — "Logistic Support Facilities";
• Volume 18 — "Trainers and Training Facilities".

In 2009–2010, the Publishing House plans to publish new volumes underwater technologies, engineer support and other.

The Publishing House "Arms and Technologies" also issues other polygraphic products, connected with activities of Russian Military Forces, enterprises of the defense industry, weapons and military equipment.

The Publishing House "Arms and Technologies" maintains business relations with many general and central directorates of the Defense Ministry, General Stuff of Military Forces, with numerous military-scientific institutes and closely collaborates with more than 800 enterprises of the defense industry in Russia and some CIS countries.

Products of the Publishing House "Arms and Technologies" are distributed among governmental, military, political and low-enforcement bodies and agencies, among companies and enterprises of the Russian defense industry, among representatives of business, military and industrial circles in foreign countries, at exhibitions (saloons) of weapons and military equipment. The products are distributed through retail trade channels as well.
